Varsity Boys Take 5th Place at State Indoor Track Meet; Varsity Girls Finish 6th; Results from Feb.6th

The Raider indoor track teams finished the 2016 season with excellent performances in the AHSAA State Indoor Meet Feb. 5th and 6th.  At the end of the competition, the varsity boys finished 5th and the varsity girls finished in 6th place.

Randolph records continued to fall on Saturday in the finals.  The boys 4×400 relay team, Gabe Menchaca, Jackson Pearson, Colin Quirk, and Raymond Jones, finished 3rd and set a new Raider record at 3:32.45.

Girls’ 4×400 Meter Relay:  2nd place

Boys’ 4×800 relay team:  Colin Quirk, Parker League, Sean O’Hare, and Alexander Young-2nd place

Girls’ 4×800 team:  Katey An Klingel, Zoe Davis, Katherine Hunter, and Mary Grace Hash-2nd place

Girls’ 1600 Meter Run:  Zoe Evans-4th place and Katherine Hunter-7th place

Boys’ 1600 Meter Run:  Alexander Young-6th and Parker League 7th place

Boys’ Shot Put:  Andrew Johnson-9th place and Kyle Hoyt-19th place

Girls’ Long Jump:  Elizabeth Johnson-9th place and Mary Coomer-17th place

Boys’ Long Jump:  Gabe Menchaca-16th place and Jaker Yang-20th place

Girls’ High Jump:  Faith Davis-5th place

Girls’ 400 Meter Dash:  Mary Grace Hash-15th place and Arya Yedla-24th place

Boys’ 400 Meter Dash:  Raymond Jones-13th place and Jackson Pearson-18th place

Girls’ 60 Meter Hurdles:  Faith Davis-7th place
