Dance teams emphasize precise, synchronized motions along with technical dance skills (such as jumps, turns, and leaps). Their routines encompass various styles. A key feature of the dance is the ability to change formations very smoothly. Dance is another athletic program that offers an incredible platform to teach the value of teamwork, hard work and attitude all while having fun at the same time.
The Randolph Dance Team will kick off its inaugural season during the 2016-2017 school year. Our new dance team is student-led by senior captains Alexa Nunn and Ana Worthington, with the help of longtime faculty member and former dance mom to her daughter, Susan Short. All of the Randolph Dance Team have impressive dance resumes and are excited to show their Randolph family their talents. Audiences will be impressed by their level of dance and performances. The team will perform at all Randolph home football games and Randolph pep rallies. Last year’s Friday night home games were a great community builder for the entire school and beyond. The addition of the dance team performing at the game will build on that excitement tremendously.
AD Blake Davenport, “I look forward to everyone seeing the incredible amount of talent on this team. It’s exciting to see this group perform together as Randolph Raiders at something they are so passionate about.”
Come out and support Randolph’s newest team!
