Michaela Morard concluded her 2017 golf year by playing in the AJGA ROLEX Tournament of Champions tournament at PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens Florida November 18 – 23, 2017. The season finale tournament included the top 72 Girl Junior Amateurs in the world. Michaela shot rounds of 70-73-75-65 from 6,350 yards for a tournament total of 5 under par 283. Her final round 65 included 7 birdies with no bogies and was the low round of the tournament on the Fazio course. Her 5 under par tournament score was good enough to finish in solo 3rd place.
Michaela has also been named to the 2017 AJGA ROLEX Junior All-American. Michaela and the other Junior All Americans were honored at the season end award banquet dubbed “The Greatest Night in Junior Golf” the night before the start of the Rolex T.O.C. This is the 3rd consecutive year Michaela has been named to the Rolex All-American team. Michaela’s 2017 year finishes with 4 National tournament titles and 1 State tournament title with 5 other Top 3 finishes. Michaela finishes 2017 with a junior tournament stroke average of 71.57
Michaela is excited to finally be able to represent Randolph School and the Raider Nation in the upcoming 2018 high school season this spring.
