Outstanding effort was given by Randolph’s swimmers and divers at Sectionals this past weekend. The girls came in 7th place out of 16 teams and the boys came in 6th place out of 14 teams. All sixteen swimmers and three divers made it possible for Randolph to compete with 6A-7A schools. Congratulations and be proud of how well you all did.
Anna Cate Goodson, Mallory Holland, and David Clary are our three divers that will be competing at State on November 29th. Each diver had to dive eleven dives and score 200 points to move on to State. Way to go! Good luck divers!
Cal Shockley and Ethan Wan each qualified in two individual events and two relays to swim at State. Ryan McNeill, Jack Maurer, Jackson Rogers, and Matthew Tao also qualified on a relay. These swimmers along with William Ziegler, had best times either in their individual events or on relays. Way to swim!
On the girl’s side, Mary Coomer, Victoria Moffet, Caroline Ayers, and Emily Eichstaedt, (Sydney Scoggins will be swimming for Caroline) qualified for State in the 400 Free Relay. They swam a personal best time on this relay to make it.
Abby Amis and Kelli Janssen swam best times in their individual events. Josey Fann and Sasha Young swam well at their first Sectional Meet. These nine swimmers left it in the pool!
Congrats Raiders and good luck at State on Fri and Sat, Nov 30 & Dec 1 at Auburn University. #RaiseTheR
