Randolph swimmers started their season off with a bang. They swam in Cullman at the Triple Dual Meet against Cullman, Buckhorn, and Gadsden. Many swimmers swam a personal best time which included some Sectional Cuts and State Times. Swimmers who swam in this meet were:

7th Graders-Masie Cunha (Best Time 50 Free and Back), Betsy King (Sectional Cut 50 Free)Paul Lee (Best Time 50 Fly and Breast), Ellis McGraw (Sectional Cut 200 Free), Alexander Minchenko (Best Time 200 Free), Julia Sharpe(Best time 50 Free and Back), and Abigail Still(50 Free and Back).
Jackson Rogers (50 Free and 50 Breast),and Ryan McNeill (100 Free and50 Fly), won both of their events. Matthew Tao, Ryan McNeill, Jack Maurer, and Jackson Rogers swam a State Time in the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay.
Our divers dove in their first meet on Saturday, at the Bob Jones Invitational. Out of fifteen divers Simon Krasnow came in eighth place. It was his first high school dive meet. On the girls side, there were ten divers. Anna Cate Goodson placed third, Mallory Holland placed fourth, and Riley Sowash, in her first high school dive meet, placed eighth. Congratulations on your dives.
Outstanding job was done by our swimmers and divers. They are looking forward to more improvement as the season moves along. Their next swim and dive meet will be in Huntsville at the Aquatic Center on Thursday the 12th. Come out and support your school’s swimmers and divers.
