The Raiders traveled to UAH Charger Park to take on St. John Paul II for a right to advance to the Final Four. These two teams have faced each other the last four years in the playoffs and these games are always great games. The game was fast and physical from the start. Both teams were looking for the opening goal. The game was scoreless the first 20 minutes but the Raiders were starting to get chances by using the width of the field.

In the 22nd minute Sridhar Karne got the ball wide and crossed it in to the middle. Ian Krajna came running in from the opposite side to one time the ball to the back of the net for the 1-0 lead. The Raiders had some other good chances in the first half but the score remained 1-0.

The start of the second half the Falcons put some pressure on the Raiders. They were able to get a good shot on goal but keeper, Max Shaw, made the great save to preserve the lead. Only a few minutes later Spencer Laue had a big throw in front of the goal. The ball hit off a Falcon and right to Ian who tapped it to Parker League. Parker put the shot to the upper corner of the goal and doubled the lead for the Raiders.

The Raiders were in control and were starting to possess the ball even more. The team was more patient but were still looking to put the game out of reach. With less than 15 minutes to go Ian showed some great skill splitting two defenders and cutting another to find Wes Minton for the tap in goal.

The game finished 3-0 and the Raiders are headed back to the Final Four. This is the seventh consecutive year the Raiders have reach the Final Four under Coach Tomlinson.

They are looking to win their third championship in the past four years. The Raiders will face Arab High School on Thursday, May 10th 5:30PM at John Hunt Park. #NothinGiven
