Jacqui Krueger steps down as Randolph head coach of Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field

New Balance Indoor Nationals

Zach Takacs ’23 ran a 4:29.61 at AHSAA 4A-5A Indoor State, earning 3rd place in State as a freshman. At the time, it was the 4th fastest time for a freshman in the nation for the 1600 meter distance!! He qualified for New Balance Indoor Nationals in NYC, and would have run the mile. Randolph Indoor Track & Field wrap up their season

Congrats on a great State meet! Boys finished 4th in the 4A-5A division (behind 3 5A teams, so 1st among 4A!) and girls tied for 10th (but 3rd behind 4A teams LAMP and SJPII). Last Chance Indoor Meet

Boys team places 17th in 1A-7A out of 86 scoring teams! Girls finish 46th in 1A-7A out of 66 scoring teams. Congrats to Wes Minton, who tied his State Record in the 60, and Anahita Maleknia, who broke her State Record in the shot! The boys 4×8 also had a split second State Record in the 4×8.

It’s hard to believe, but Hoopcoming Weekend is here! A new addition to Hoopcoming this year is Randolph’s first ever Blacklight Pep Rally that was held Thursday night for 5-12th grade students. Indoor Track Holiday Invite

   The Indoor Track and Field team kicked their season off this past weekend at the Holiday Invite, where the boys finished 2nd OA (only a few points behind Scottsboro!) and the girls finished 12th.
